A Note from Kim Patton

Hi everyone. To those of you who are new to our chapter, welcome. On April 12th, we had a lot of people attend the Casino Night and Texas Hold’em Tournament and a lot of new people as well. The place we had it at, Bridgeman's Hall, was big, therefore it made it easy for everyone to get around. The people on the committee did a great job once again and made the night very enjoyable. Keep up the great work. I look forward to attending an even bigger and better Casino Royal with a lot more prizes to win. I also would like to take this opportunity to thank Stuart Greenberg for finding the new location. It has an accessible bathroom and I know for many of my friends, myself included, they love to attend a lot of things. Since we are in wheelchairs having an accessible place means the world to us. So, thank you again Stuart.

I just returned from the National Conference in Tucson AZ. I learned a lot from each session and I also enjoyed making friends from just hanging out in the lobby talking to other people at the conference. A lot of lasting friendships are made. Next year conference will be held at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida. I hope many of you can save the date and attend. It is very educational.
